ADA - Ada Regional United Way’s 15 member agencies will host the second annual Agencies Giving Back chili lunch on Thursday, Nov. 19, at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall (Broadway and 14th Street) 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
This event was organized by all member agencies who wanted to give back to Ada Regional United Way to support and show thanks for what the United Way does throughout the year for their agencies. Tickets for the chili lunch are $5; includes a drink, chili, homemade corn bread, and desserts. All proceeds from the event (ticket sales and donations) will benefit the Ada Regional United Way.
Ada Regional United Way’s 15 member agencies include: Ada Area Youth Shelter/Services, Ada Habitat for Humanity, Boy Scouts-Arbuckle Council, Boys & Girls Club of Ada, Camp Fire USA, Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma, Ada Area Chemical Dependency Center, Inc., Ada Area Community Emergency Services, Inc., American Red Cross, Heart of Oklahoma Chapter, Consumer Credit Counseling Services, Family Crisis Center, Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma, Inc., 2-1-1 of Southeastern Oklahoma, Ada Senior Care Center, and PAWS.
